About the Event
Have you or someone you know faced housing issues such as eviction, landlord problems, access to housing/vouchers, unsafe housing, or rising costs? Join us for a panel and discussion event on shared lived experiences with housing issues and how we can address them.
A light lunch will be provided. Vegetarian and vegan options will be provided. Childcare and interpretation services will be provided as needed. Please indicate your needs below. The venue is on the 71C, 74, 75, 77, 82, 86, 88, 89 bus routes, and is a short walk from the East Liberty busway station. Ample parking is also available.
This event is being put together by the participants, project staff, advocates, and steering committee of the Advocacy and Organizing Training research project. The project is run through Equitable and Just Greater Pittsburgh (a network convened by UrbanKind Institute) and the University of Pittsburgh School of Social Work. It is funded through an AmeriCorps National Service Research Project grant.
