Utilizing a variety of skill sets to support the EJGP is vital to its operations. To that end, it will be a community-led process supported by UrbanKind Institute, Mongalo-Winston Consulting, and Black Women, Wise Women who will be coordinating the day-to-day operations. This core group is providing the staff capacity to facilitate meetings, conduct outreach, help build the platform, and promote advocacy efforts. It is our aim to lift up the voices of the region’s residents in order to develop a collective statement of shared values, principles, policies, and outcomes for a more equitable and just Pittsburgh region.
Several organizations that were instrumental to the work of All-in-Pittsburgh continue to support the coalition. These include: Neighborhood Allies, Pittsburgh United, Riverside Center for Innovation, the Hill District Consensus Group, Regional Housing Legal Services, and Malik Bankston. Based on an initial survey, introductory discussions, and initial outreach, over 50 additional organizations and individuals have expressed their interest in continuing to be part of this work.
